Teaching software has to work without a steady internet connection. Students need practice; teachers need to manage material and results.
- What we did
We built the desktop apps with Electron and the admin on React, and dealt with files, local sessions, installation and updates.
- More detail
The program has to start in a classroom, save the student's work and not depend on the network. Nobody needs effects here.
The admin is dense: a teacher comes in to set an assignment and check results, and is done in a couple of minutes.
How it turned out
A teaching set that works offline, with one place to manage it.
